Stephanie Swindell: Artist
Hi and welcome! I’m so glad you’re here and taking the time to learn a little bit about my journey.
In 2024, I participated in a local craft show that completely changed the direction of my creative life. What started as a simple opportunity to share a few handmade pieces turned into the spark that pushed me toward something much bigger, starting my own business. Not long after that event, I took a huge leap and invested in a large laser cutter, opening up a whole new world of design possibilities. Since then, I’ve been dreaming, sketching, and creating nonstop, pouring my ideas into every project that comes across my workspace.
The truth is, the desire to work for myself has been with me for as long as I can remember. Although I still maintain a full-time, forty-hour-a-week job, Sprig and feather has become the creative outlet that gives me freedom, fulfillment, and joy. It’s where I get to express myself and connect with others who appreciate art and handmade craftsmanship.
Art, design, and creativity are not new passions for me, they’re part of my family’s legacy. I’m proud to be a fifth-generation artist, continuing a tradition that has shaped who I am. You could say that creating runs in my veins; it’s what I’ve always known and loved.
So, I invite you to follow along as I continue this journey, one filled with designing, learning, moments of trial and error, and the incredible satisfaction that comes with producing something I’m truly proud of.
Thank you for being here and for supporting this little dream of mine. I can’t wait to share what’s next.
